Grand Col Ferret is an alpine pass at the Italy/Switzerland border.
We stayed here for a while, enjoying the 360 degree views.

Mont Velan
It is a mountain in the Pennine Alps on a border between
Switzerland and Italy and is the highest summit lying between
the Great St Bernard Pass and Grand Combin.
Grand Combin, 4314 meters high or 14,143 ft.

Heading down from Grand Col Ferret and now in Switzerland,
we walked off trail to the left to our lunch spot.

There are two Ferret valleys, one in Switzerland and
one in Italy. The Grand Col Ferret or Ferret Pass divides them.
