After the Keukenhof visit, we drove to a tulip farm.
A husband and wife team ran this tulip farm. Here the wife
is starting to explain the history of the farm.

At the end of our tour of the tulip farm, we picked tulips
for our cruise ship cabins.

Obviously, there's quite a bond between them.
FloraHolland in Aalsmeer is the world's largest flower auction, and
visitors can watch the impressive auction and look at the
thousands of carts bursting with flowers.

Holland produces more than 9 billion flower bulbs annually.
Flower cars are being readied for shipment.
90% of the Dutch flower trade takes place at FloraHolland.
The auction houses have around 5000 members, 9000 suppliers,
3500 customers and 4500 employees.
The auction room. The auction starts at 6 AM. Once purchased,
the flowers are loaded onto airplanes and transported to
florist shops across Europe and the U.S., usually to be sold
the same day.

The Rijksmuseum is a Netherlands national museum dedicated to arts
and history in Amsterdam. The museum is located at the Museum Square
in the borough Amsterdam South, close to the Van Gogh Museum.
The museum has on display 8,000 objects of art and history, from their
total collection of 1 million objects from the years 1200–2000, among
which are some masterpieces by Rembrandt, Frans Hals, and Johannes
Vermeer.

Located at the Rijksmuseum on Museumplein, the large "I amsterdam"
slogan. It has become a city icon and a sought after photo op.
You can barely see the sign in the background surrounded
by lots and lots of people.
